Deadline: Friday March 9th, 2012
Submission Requirements:
1. Cover letter
2. Artist/curatorial statement
3. CV for each artist (if more than 3 participants, please include biographies)
4. CD of 10 to 15 images saved as jpegs at a pixel dimension of 1024 x 768
5. Image list with list of title, size, medium and year of works submitted
6. Description of installation with a list of required equipment and a description of how it will be obtained by the artist(s)
7. Budget for show
Portfolio Requirements:
For photographic or mixed media work to be hung on the wall [Minimum number of slides (with list) or prints]:
Solo Show: 10
2 person show: 5 Each
3 person show: 3 each
Group show: 5 representative
For installation based work:
- 2D diagram of installation on the Gallery Floor Plan
- A 3D maquette – or digital model of the proposed environment
For time based (video, film, performance etc.):
- A sample portion of piece or the completed piece
- A script storyboard or some form that will provide an adequate description of the content and form of the piece.
For web and computer based work:
- A URL to link to piece, or CD that contains the piece
Evening performances, film screening and special events:
1 page description of event including sample work if possible (note: evening performances are subject to availability and compatibility with regularly slotted shows)

Services Provided by the Gallery:
-A gallery attendant during normal hours (Wednesday to Saturday
noon to 5 p.m.)
- opportunity to exhibit in a professional gallery space in the Toronto Gallery District
- alarm protection services
- installation assistance
- web promotion, including an image gallery
- gallery produces and disseminates e-vite and poster
- inclusion in gallery website archive
Artist’s Responsibilities:
-Hanging, installing and removal of exhibitions
Repairing damage done to the gallery, (ie. patching nail
holes etc.)
-Design, production, distribution and cost of invitations
-Arrangements for opening (coordinated with gallery)
-Arranging equipment required for the exhibition (frames, computers,
video projectors etc.)
-Wall labels (beyond the budget provided by the gallery)
